Scott White
President

Scott White is the President of IGS Energy.  As one of the company’s founders, he has been with IGS since 1989.  Scott has a deep understanding of the energy market overall and has extensive experience in all aspects of the natural gas supply functions, trading, distribution and marketing, including more than 20 years of experience in senior-level management positions with enterprise-wide financial and administration responsibilities for the company.

Under his leadership, IGS Energy has grown from a three-person start-up natural gas company with almost $1 million in sales in 1989 to a 350+ employee organization that is continuing to explore other energy sources, most recently electricity, with more than $1.4 billion in revenue in 2010. 

Scott serves on the Board of Directors for IGS Energy, Saven Corporation, Dublin Methodist Hospital Development Board and Jr. Achievement, Columbus Board of Directors. He is a former member of the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) Board of Directors.  Scott is also affiliated with the Ohio Gas Association and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association.

The Columbus native graduated from Ohio University with a degree in finance and marketing. Scott currently lives in Dublin, Ohio with his wife and three children.
 

Doug Austin
Executive Vice President

Doug Austin is the Executive Vice President of IGS Energy, and is directly responsible for all sales and marketing functions, including customer relationship management and customer operations. IGS Energy currently serves more than 1 million residential, and commercial and industrial customers across the company's eleven-state footprint. Doug began his career with IGS Energy in 1992 and under his direction and leadership, annual sales revenues grew from $6 million in 1992 to more than $1.4 billion during fiscal 2010. Doug currently serves on the Board of Directors for IGS Energy, Saven Corporation, The Ohio Gas Association, and Recreation Unlimited. Doug holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Ohio University. He currently lives in Dublin, Ohio, and has two children.


Jim Baich
Chief Operating Officer 

As the COO for IGS Energy, Jim is responsible for the company's Operations (Choice and Commercial & Industrial) and IT functions, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.  He joined IGS in 2010 after serving as the COO for Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS). Prior to ADS, Jim managed various projects for Anderson Consulting as a Management Consultant.  He has a comprehensive background in sales, marketing, strategic planning, manufacturing, distribution, and solid leadership experience.  He holds bachelor's degrees in both Finance and Industrial Engineering.  Jim currently lives in Dublin, Ohio with his wife and three children.

 

Larry Friedeman
Vice President of Choice Markets

As the Vice President of Choice Markets, Larry is responsible for overseeing IGS Energy's Market Compliance and Quality Assurance functions and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.  He brings to the table broad knowledge of the non-regulated natural gas industry, having previously served in regulatory capacities for more than a decade as a primary point of contact between suppliers and utility regulatory commissions in ten states across the mid-west and eastern US.  Larry received both a bachelor's and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is married and has two grown children.

 

Ray Hamman
Chief Supply and Risk Officer

As the Chief Supply and Risk Officer, Ray is responsible for the natural gas and electricity supply and risk management functions, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.  He joined the organization is 2011 via IGS Energy's acquisition of Accent Energy, where he was the Chief Operating Officer.  He has more than 20 years of experience in the retail and wholesale energy industry.  Ray is a graduate of The Ohio State University and currently lives in Dublin, Ohio with his wife and two children. 

 

Vincent A. Parisi
General Counsel/Regulatory Affairs Officer

Vincent A. Parisi is General Counsel and Regulatory Affairs Officer for IGS Energy; responsible for all legal matters and regulatory issues in IGS Energy’s entire footprint, addressing marketplace issues and competitive opportunities involving various state commissions, legislators and regulatory bodies. Under Vince’s direction, the legal department oversees and manages all internal and external legal and regulatory resources, collaborating with and calling upon in-market counsel in all Midwestern states where IGS Energy has a presence. Additionally, Vince and the Legal Department have direct oversight of credit functions and management of credit risk to reduce overall corporate risk. Prior to joining IGS Energy in 2003, Vincent worked for the Ohio law firm, Chester, Willcox & Saxbe LLP (“CW&S”) practicing in the energy, employment, litigation, bankruptcy, and real estate law areas. Vince is a leading member of Ohio Gas Marketers Group, New York State Energy Marketers Coalition, Retail Gas Suppliers in Illinois, and is Mid-west Director of Policy for National Energy Marketers association. Vince is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a concentration in statistical analysis. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Capital University Law School, was an editor on the Law Review staff and received several awards in Contract Law, Tax Law, Constitutional Law and Civil Procedure. Additionally, Vincent successfully completed an advanced LLM degree in Business and Tax law in 2001. He currently lives in Hilliard, Ohio, with his wife and three children.

 

Nicole Shiring
Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Human Resources

Nicole Shiring is the Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Human Resources for IGS and provides strategic Marketing & HR leadership to the company.  She serves as a business partner in the development of short and long term business goals and works closely with the leadership team to grow the company through best practices in Marketing, Communication and  HR policies, programs, and services.  Nicole joined IGS Energy in 2011 from McGraw-Hill.  She has over seventeen years of HR and Communications experience, primarily from Progressive Medical, Inc., and The Pizzuti Companies.  She was recognized by Columbus CEO Magazine as one of the top Human Resource Executives in Central Ohio in 2010.  Nicole holds a Master of Science in Administration, with a concentration in HR management. 
 

Tami Wilson
Chief Financial Officer

Tami is responsible for all aspects of IGS Energy's investment activities while identifying and managing business growth opportunities and marketing strategies within The Manchester Group, Consumer Choice Marketing (CCM) and other IGS ventures as they develop.  Tami is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having more than 10 years of executive leadership experience in the deregulated gas markets and has a comprehensive background in Finance and Accounting.  She most recently served as President for Vectren Retail where she was responsible for the strategic direction for both the natural gas marketing and energy efficiency businesses.  She was also CFO for Vectren previously, as well. Tami holds a BS degree in Accounting.  Tami and her husband currently reside in the Dublin area.

Scot Burris
Vice President of Choice Sales

Scot is the Vice President of Choice Sales for IGS Energy. Scot is responsible for the company's sustained growth and acquisition strategies in the residential and small business sectors across the company's national footprint. Scot joined IGS in 2012 after successfully building and leading highly effective sales organizations for 20 plus years in the telecommunications and cable industries. Scot also has broad executive experience in strategic planning, operations, and business development within rapid-growth environments. An active community contributor, Scot has served on multiple industry and civic boards, as well as work with various industry and community organizations throughout his career. Burris received his bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from North Carolina State University.
